ErflettAtlas Project

ErflettAtlas Project is the cartographic project for the Erflett world — the systematic development of detailed maps of Erflett's geography (Eikaizu, 永界図 — "Map of the Eternal World") alongside complementary geographic and ecological research. The project was first publicly noted in the news of October 2024.

Background

Cartography is a fundamental tool of world-systematisation: a map makes implicit geographic relationships explicit, enforces internal consistency, and enables cross-disciplinary reference. As AISU's body of knowledge about Erflett has grown, the need for a comprehensive, authoritative world atlas has become pressing. ErflettAtlas provides that reference.

Activities

  • Development of the Erflett world map (Eikaizu) using Microsoft Visio
  • Geographic research into Erflett's continents, regions, and topographic features; reconstruction as needed
  • Ecological and biome research for Erflett's environments
  • Future publication and distribution of completed map editions
