ErflettMod Project

ErflettMod Project is the development of a Minecraft MOD set in the Erflett world, alongside concurrent research and reconstruction of the Erflett world itself. It serves as a creative and technical vehicle for encoding the Institute's accumulated knowledge of Erflett into an interactive, explorable form.

Background

Minecraft's open-ended world model provides a uniquely suitable medium for simulating the physical, ecological, and cultural properties of a fictional world. ErflettMod is simultaneously a software project and a research discipline: each design decision requires the underlying Erflett science and lore to be made precise and internally consistent.
